I think I have a very solid draft and am very deep at WR now that Marshall is only out for one game. I know my RB depth is kind of week and have been working on trades for Tatum Bell and Lorenzo Booker, but I feel confident with my main 3.

    Tell me what you think.

It doesn't appear strong to me right now.
However, fantasy sports are very unpredictable.

My 2008 baseball team looked like ass and THEN I made all sorts of bizarre moves.
In April, I cut Ellsbury for some random turd.
    I traded Abreu for Sheffield.
My 9th rd pick (some P on the Brewers) was lost for the season after only a few games.
I cut Rowand for some turd off the free agent wire.
    Etc.

    Guess what?

The team is in 1st place and the only team to have clinched a playoff spot.

Yea its a PPR (Point Per Reception) Westbrook I felt was the more valuable player due to how many balls he catches out of the backfield. Was a tough call for sure.

For only a 12 team league, I think your depth players are weaker than they should be...

You have no worthy back-up's at RB, and once you get past D. Bowe at WR, you've got very little to work with. DJ Hackett wasn't drafted in my league, and D. Jackson is a complete unknown being that he's only a rookie. For my reserves, I would have gone with WR's who are more experienced / more consistent on a weekly basis.

I also don't like the N. Keading selection, I took him early last year, and was extremely disappointed after coming to the conclusion that the Chargers rarely kick FG's. I could have waited, and selected any left over kicker, and been off better in the end...

I play in a {16 team league}, and this is my starting / reserves roster....

    QB - Cutler
    RB - W. Parker
    RB - D. Williams
    WR - T. Owens
    WR - TJ Houshmandzadeh
    WR - D. Driver
    K - M. Nugent
    DEF - NYG
    --------------
    Reserves
    ---------
    QB C. Pennington
    RB K. Watson
    WR D. Mason
WR D. Patten - Wildcard selection
    K - J. Scobee
    D / ST - DEN

I know my roster isn't the greatest, but I don't play in a 12 team league either. The chances of me filling out my roster with quality depth is much more difficult than it is for those who play in 12 /14 team leagues. Remember, it's all about points, and in a 12 team league, you should have more quality players than that in my opinion. I hope you take this well, and not as an insult of any kind. It's only constructive, and I just try to be as honest as I can. I have a strong feeling that you'll thank me later. Good Luck Man!!...

Thanks for the response, I take constructive criticism well. I dont feel like I have the best team I could have gotten. I am a better drafted with a later pick but I felt I got great value considering where my picks where.

Westbrook over AP was a tough choice but I truly feel that Westbrook will catch more balls making him more valuable.

    1st - Westbrook
    2nd - Wayne
    3rd - Lewis
    4th - Smith
    5th - Marshall

I thought I did good at the top end of my draft. I was a little surprised by some of the picks coming after that a few guys in my league drafted a lot of handcuff RB's and are very thin at WR. I have been trying to get a hold on Lorenzo Booker and now Rudi Johnson just to sure things up. I believe my 3 main RB's handcuffs are valuable enough if they had to play. The RB depth was crushed by the time it got to me in the 4th. I am very aware and nervous about my RB depth, the pool was CLEANED by the 5th. So I had to stock up on WR's.

Lorenzo Booker and Dustin Keller were selected a LOT earlier then I expected so that put me off a bit. But I believe my WR depth will be very strong by week 2 and more times then not I will be using a WR at FLEX not Kevin Smith.

DeSean Jackson and Eddie Royal are two guys that will be signed by everyone by week 2. Crayton is a good receiver in a big offense. Bowe has a chance to put up big numbers if Croyle can just get him the damn ball. Avery was signed as a FA.

I am aware my depth is average if not below average. There just isnt much out there now since it was a 20 round draft and I feel if I can acquire Rudi Johnson and Lorenzo Booker for Kevin Jones and a WR or two then I would be in better shape.

Thanks for the response, to sum it all up I think my starting lineup can become a very high scoring lineup and im just hoping to be able to work some trades to solidify my RB depth.

    Thanks,

Your team is pretty solid for it being a 16 those are tough for sure. I love the Cutler pick and TO. But you have big big question marks concerning Parker, Williams and Housh. I believe Housh will be fine but I just find it very hard to come out of the top 2 rounds without a RB, but you covered it well is Watson. I feel your team has a chance but I have a hard time believing it if you told me it was the best team in the league.

    Good luck to you sir

I still believe in what I thought earlier, my WR depth is solid. I have worked a deal and took your advice and dropped Kaeding.

    QB:

    Jon Kitna
    Matt Schaub

    RB:

    Brian Westbrook
    Kevin Smith
    Jamal Lewis
    Lorenzo Booker
    Leon Washington
    Kevin Jones
    Jason Wright

    WR:

    Reggie Wayne
    Brandon Marshall
    DeSean Jackson
    Eddie Royal
    Dwayne Bowe
    Patrick Crayton

    TE:

    Antonio Gates
    John Carlson

    K:

    John Kasey

    DEF:

    Packers
    Jets

I am doing some searching and currently shopping Royal and Crayton in hopes of finding some RB depth. I have one owner who wants Royal and a RB for Thomas Jones. I have offered Royal for Chris Johnson. I have also offered Crayton for Slaton.

Any feedback or advice would be helpful. I want to find a RB without losing Lewis.

    Thanks,

    Youth
