It is easy to be a fan of a team like the Pats. That win all the time, and are always in the hunt. It is easy to pick on other teams, boast of your favorite team's greatness and strut like a rooster. It is easy to troll on other boards, looking for ways to rub it in other fan's faces. It is not easy being a Jets fan, a second citizen in our own stadium. Some of the toughest fans are Jets fans, we take it on the chin all the time, getting hopes dashed. But here we stand, still hoping, still dreaming. Some of the most diehard fans I know are Jets fans. I keep hoping better days are ahead. So to all of you trolls who come to this board, keep it coming. We are Jets fans, we can take it. Been dealing with it for years, yearning to have our own great team to root for. Yearning for those easy wins and multiple championships. But that is not what being a Jets fan is all about. This is the hard way of being a fan. Just remember, especially Pats fans....like the movie line... "All fame is fleeting" The Jets day is coming....and the Pats will fade again. As a Jets fan, I always have hope, and die hard with the team. Cursing the whole way.
Here here. I fully expect to beat the Patsies when we play them later in the season. They are so ripe to be beaten down, and Farve is gonna be fully gelled up with the team by that time. There will be no mistaking this. Also, the Jets running game will be more cohesive. Top to bottom the Jets have better running backs. The Patsies best running back is a Jets castoff! And you know what. Fuck me in the the belly button for sayin it...but mano-e-mano...i think when you factor in the personality bullshit, J Cotch is every bit the WR that Randy moss is. He is young and not matured...but give him time. Watch the music Farve makes with him.
The non-bandwagoner Pats fans like PNNY and dubadegi will still be around to actually talk football while bottom-feeders like Grogan and Sean_in_Hind-Tittytown will take a mysterious 'vacation' and have 'something more important to do than go online'.
Very well said. It really is hard, especially as a Long Island guy going to all the games. YOu put so much into it as far as time, money, aggravation.....and the team just aggravates you even more. But I don't care. Next week, I'm ready to roll. Fuck the Pats trolls. Pats are better than us, but they ain't winning anything this year so the trolls can go fuck themselves.

Please, don't pretend to take the high road now. Jet fans spent all off-season thumping their chests and talking all kinds of crap about the Patriots. They told us how old and slow the defense is, how the secondary would get exposed without Samuel, how the O-line forgot how to block. Jets fans told Pats fans all about how great the Jet Free Agent spending spree was and laughed at everything move thee Pats made and then went nuts over how great Gholston was going to be. Once again the Jets and their fans where kings of the Off-season, well I hope you all enjoyed it, reality is here again and it's going to be fun watching it set in.
Do you see us going to the Pats board and saying these things. This is a JETS BOARD, FULL OF JETS FANS. Of course we are going to be excited about our team. Sure we hate the Pats, they are the enemy. You need a handful of fans that can read and write to have a board. That's why the Pats fans have to come to ours and mess it up.
