I don't want Revis on any KR duty. Why add more risk to injury on one of the most needed people on this team.

I'd like to see Revis return kicks just so he can get some pub and make the Pro Bowl. Its sad the way Jets are so overlooked.

I think the pick 6 helped against the Cards... and returning won't do shit for him at the CB spot- they'll vote him in as the ST guy if thats the case.

Screw the Pro Bowl, they should have done away with it years ago.

Let's hope Elam makes the starting FS position a real battle after this game. We're thin at saftey and I'd love to see him make a point to stay after this game.

Did anyone notice the quote...."Brett Favre shares that distinction ? in fact, when he came off the bench in to lead the Packers to a 24-23 comeback win over the Bengals at Lambeau Field in 1992, it marked the last time he didn't start a game before starting his still current starting streak."

Hopefully that's not the kiss of death!

Firstly, no fu**in' way should revis be returning kicks! That would be the largest fucking mistake fats could make--I have seen guys injured on special teams (for some reason, winslow comes to mind today) that should never have been out there--especially, returners.

Secondly, I am getting the feeling that this team is very, very solid in terms of character. What will they be like once they get some wins? Imagine 5-2 going into the Buffalo game. I wouldn't want to be playing against this group once they have winning confidence. They could run the table.

IT IS SO FUCKING AWESOME TO BE A JETS FAN RIGHT NOW!

IMO Elam will probably start the rest of the season. I thought he did a very good job last year once he settled down. Like Mangini said he is a high energy guy, who when he got on the field last year was over aggressive. and got called in consecutive games with big personal fouls. He settled down after that, and played very well.

I believe the reason he lost his starting job this year wasn't because of Smith's play, it was because Elam was stressed out, and couldn't function at an NFL level. If you remember the first week of camp his brother was murdered. It was his 3rd sibling to be murdered in gang related violence. Have to think as a 23 YO that threw him off focus a bit.

Hopefully he has recovered, and will be back to his smash mouth style of FS.
