Put some pressure on Russell for God's sake. He'll choke guaranteed. Big mistake by not blitzing more.

Umm can't blame our run d feeley or thomas jones I don't see why on 1st down we wouls rush for like 7 yards then run 2 pass plays jones could have easily had 200 yards that gmae I think play calling was questionable

I would agree with that. It has been for the whole season.

Jones ran great, but I was more impressed with the run blocking.

Kris Jenkins. My god, the man is a manimal. My only complaint is that we didn't get this guy earlier then we did.

The D played well, STs played well, we had an amazing running game. Hmm why did we lose? Maybe our QB was awful against an awful defense. We'd now be 5-1, at worse 4-2 w/ Chad but hey Brett does have a stronger arm!

Our Special teams played great? What game were you watching? We gave them the ball on a fumbled punt they got a first down on a fake punt and they killed us in yardage on every punt exchange. Our special teams lost the game for us today.

Where do you see "great"? I wrote "well". Oak also missed a FG, our K hit a 54 yarder to send the game to OT, our coverage units were good. Our STs played well. I don't blame them for the fake punt, that's on our coaches to have them prepared for that which they clearly were not.

Our STs lost the game for us? You guys can never blame Favre, he is the golden boy. he led us to 10 pts in 5 qtrs w/ a 150+yd rusher and it's the STs fault we lost:rofl:

You want to blame Favre because of your crush on Chad who picked 6 the dolphins to a horrible loss against a crappy team with a rookie QB.

Favre was bad yesterday. Our special teams sucked, Chris Baker fell down and cost us the game, Rhodes tries a blitz from 12 yards behind the LOS before the ball is snapped.

Yes Favre sucked, he did not cost us this game this game was lost in game plan, bad special teams, terrible execution and bad QB play. Any of those other elements are improved and we win the game.

Yep it's everyone else's fault except Favre. How many points did Favre lead us to in 5 qtrs of play? Favre kept Cincy in the game last week and he kept Oak in the game this week, luckily it didn't bit us last week but it did this week. Chad had no help yesterday against a much better D, Favre had help against an awful D and the QB we faced was WORSE than Flacco coming into this week.

Our STs didn't suck, they sucked in week 2 to help us lsoe they had a few bad moments but nothing we shouldn't have been able to overcome. The game shouldn't have been close enough to allow a fake P late in the game. You blame Chad for the pick 6 but what about ANOTHER killer Favre INT? That cost us points and we went to OT so you do the math.

favre had 200+ yds rushing and could only lead us to 10 pts against an awful team in 5 qtrs. Imagine if Chad did that for us, who would you be blaming? It would be Chad and if Herm was still here a combo of Chad and Herm but Favre costs us a game and the excuses roll in when he cost us the game.

with chad as qb jones doesnt rush for 159 yards thus u cant say we win this game or even be 5-1 i think your fondness of chad is hindering reality.

Of course not b/c we know w/ Chad as your QB you can't possibly have a good running game b/c D's stack the box but why then was Curtis Martin able to lead the NFL in rushing? Why had Thomas Jones been so ineffective most of this year and why has Miami run the ball well this year? I think your final sentence is almost deal on except change the word fondness to hatred and it applies to all the irrational Chad haters out there.

I couldn't agree more! We started to work in a nice balance between the two in the final stages of the game. That combination is the key to beating buffalo. This coaching staff has got to be put on notice.

No I am not. He could have had much more yards if he did not fold up his arms and get into the fetal position whenever someone tackles him. A great back would have run for 2 long TD's with the openings he had.

If you look at the problems we are having it's basically we can't run out of the spread and can't throw effectively out of a pro set. The Raiders matched up against our WR and took them out all game, we did a good job attacking the middle of the field with the TE but Baker had two key slips that probably cost us the game.

D's stacking the box isn't a big deal if you match up with them with either 2 TE or a FB. That's how we ran in 04 we didn't run by going to 3 and 4 WR and letting Chad throw 20 yard passes. We also had a much better running TE and RT and Mawae was much better at pulling on the run than Mangold.

It shouldn't have come down to 2 slips by Baker, the game should never have been close. The raiders had 9 million penalties, they looked inept out there yet we couldn't score against them. There's no excuses for that.

I don't care how we ran the ball, we always hear from the Chad whiners how he limited our run game and that just wasn't the case. Last year he was hurting and our OL stunk. It wasn't like we ran the ball when strong armed kellen was in there and Miami isn't haveing many problems running the ball this year even though they have no WRs to throw to(even though they did struggle running yesterday).

Yeah, Jones played a great game but we could not pick up on the blitzes nor could our receivers get open, Favre looked lackluster. The Raiders beat the Jets just like New England did, they have a good punter and kicker that left us in lousy field position al day. Then you have to add in the factor of the Jets playing down to a poor team. The Raiders were trying to give the game away and we started making mistakes, taking bad penalties and playing poorly on offense, just like the Raiders. The defense played well but the blitz packages should have been more aggresive. I was totally disgusted watching this game. If the Jets don't beat the Chiefs this weekend and are 3-4 going into Buffalo, it may be time to lose whatever excitement I have left for this team.

Lets not forget the wonderful Chris Baker, ladies and gentlemen. Wide open in the seam and he falls down. That was a TD

They just outplayed us on D. Monster penetration, mixed with tight coverage down field. We adjusted late in the second quarter to the underneath but there were key mistakes on offense.
