17 years in the league, only one losing season, and he's gotta end his career with the worst coaching staff of his life. I never knew there were actually teams with play-calling this bad.
It's not the fault of "everything". But it's the wost play-calling I've ever seen, and I'm not just saying that out of emotion. And if you don't think play-calling makes a huge difference then you're ignorant.
You've got to be kidding me....Farve is playing awful. He was the wrong fit for this team when they traded for him and he is backing that up.
He's being put in very difficult positions. I don't care how good you are, if the plays suck the plays suck. He's made some bad throws, he always does, but never like this.
If they open up the offense like they did in the Cardinals game and he still plays bad then I'll agree with you. So far he's never had that chance again.
plus he led the Jets to another game-winning TD drive. but i'm sure he'll still get a lot of heat. and ill be honest, he deserves some. but most of the fault should go to the coaches putting him in terrible situations and not letting him throw the ball deep.
Favre has done more bad than good for the season. is he the best we have? yes. is he playing well? no.
3rd and 1.....Bomb it??? what kind of call was that. It worked a couple of weeks ago against AZ but come on. Pound the ball against the weak KC run defense
Agree wit u Colintes, he has to learn to take the sack or through the ball towards the sideline, not just up in the air. We all know that Farve takes chances but not like that.
It was a play action. There were guys open in the flats, but Farve decided to throw the bomb even though there was double-coverage... come on now.
The first INT looked to be another miscommunication between Favre and Cotchery. The second one was a poor decision by Favre. On the 3rd one, Chansi stopped on his route. Not a good game overall by Favre, but he did lead us to the win at the end. I really hate the offensive play calling in this game. I don't think Eric and Brian could have called a much worse game.
In all seriousness...thats a joke. The fact that this game was close was due to one man...Brett Favre. Not to bring it up again, but if Chad was the QB in that game, it would have been a cake walk
