I think that the major reason why our defense struggled against the run so badly was because of the amount of time on the field. No matter who you put out there, if the defense is on the field for 75% of the game, they will get tired and ultimately fail especially against the run.

Another reason may be due to injury. Barton comes to mind, and I'm sure there are more people who are slipping past my memory. Kerry Rhodes was a rookie and should improve this year. Abraham was pretty weak against the run as well.

I think that there is a good, young, solid base on defense. We should be much more concerned about the offense.

I think its funny how everyone is posting how our defense sucked last year and will continue to suck. We were 12th in the league of 32 last year in defense Our offense had a 3 and out alot of times they came out onto the field. Our defense was on the field for 40 mins a game. we did have a bad rushing game but that was partly due to the defense being so tired. our pass defense was 2nd. I think our defense will be better than last years especially against the run if we get carpenter or lawson and some more CB depth

our D is good...our O is bad...if you cannt decipher the difference then maybe you should take a tour of your local preschool and see what they say about the difference between good and bad...they might be able to help

The Skins played Pittsburgh in 2004, Seattle twice and K.C. once in 2005. No team has powered their way up the gut on us. I don't think the Ravens can do it on anyone anymore.

We had a few long gainers run off the weakside edge last year but no one has run well inside against us since Williams has been here.

Seattle's short passing game has given us the most problems.
