I agree partially. If Brett is having so much trouble then why is he on pace to throw over 30 TDs and complete nearly 70% of his passes?
To me its all about the plays that break down and force Favre to look at 2nd and 3rd options. Brett needs to either throw to these options or throw the ball away. What has separated Favre from the average QB over the years is his improvisational skills. What gets him in trouble is when he locks in on a particular receiver before the ball is even snapped and just heaves it up, regardless of coverage. That's why he throws into double coverage so much......because they read his eyes when he locks in on guys.
I'd rather see Favre try to jam it into tight coverage than thow up a jump ball. The rocket balls aren't as likely to be caught by the other team.

They couldn't make it work with Chad, and now they can't make it work with Favre. Favre has a HoF track record, and Pennington is playing a lot better in Miami and it's becoming undeniable now.

Favre also looks injured to me. I don't know what it is, maybe we have really bad medical staff or something. The Giants play in the same stadium yet their QBs don't always injure their arms and then throw ducks.
