After looking shaky for the first couple of weeks, this o-line did everything they needed to, run blocking (especially in the 4th quarter), and pass blocking. Big reason the offense got the job done. Also Tony Richardson should get props.

Thomas Jones looks like a different person out there, and I believe that is directly attributable to the O-Line. Great work in the 4th Qtr, especially on the touchdown run.

Funny, I thought the O line was lousy today, until that final drive. They did not dominate the line of scrimmage, and the Bills were constantly in Favre's face. They did get it done at the end, though, so all is forgiven.

Agreed this OL was phenomenal outside of a single play. The 3rd and short early on where they were unable to get a big push, but other than that, well done overall by this OL.

I thought the o-line played pretty good overall. Obviously, they allowed pressure on the int play and some other plays, but other than that pretty solid. We did a lot of short pass plays which made their job easier.

Mangini has changed the face of this Jets team in less than three years... I can go on and on but lets just talk about the O-Line since Mangini has been on board...I mean, afterall...This thread is about the O-Line so why talk about anything else that has changed over the past 3 years?

Mangini understands the game of football and he understands that you MUST win the battle of the trenches to have a winning team, he showed me that he understood when Mangini and the Jets passed up on the "Sexy pick" and drafted D'Brickishaw Ferguson with the 4th overall pick...Followed by the drafting of Nick Mangold with our 2nd overall pick!

    Ferguson (Potential franchise LT)

Mangold (Future All Pro Center for years to come)

Alan Faneca (HOF LG with a solid 3+ years left in the tank)

Woody over Clement.... Enough said. Woody has always been a talented O-Lineman.

The only man left is Moore and you know what? He was a 1st year starter in I believe 2004 when Curtis Martin rushed for the most yards in the league...

Lets give credit where credit is due... Because of Mangini and company, we now have a solid O-Line for players such as Favre, Thomas Jones and Leon Washington.

    We've got us a kickass O-line.

Our left 3 (D'Brick, Faneca, Mangold) are sick...fucking sick.

This was Fanecas best game as a Jet. The OLine is hitting its stride, I think it is time to start pounding the ball more.

Better to be in Favre's face than for Favre to be constantly knocked on his ass. I saw a very much improved O line today.

I agree, the play where Thomas Jones ran to the right for ~10+ yards was created by some amazing lead blocks by Alan Faneca and Tony Richardson.

It's about time all that money paid off! This team has the potential to be special...

  13. Hey, It's a talented unit. They've been looking for alittle more cohesion and an identity. Today they took a step in the right direction on both those fronts. Buffalo's game plan was obviously tro blitz, blitz, blitz. It didn't work.
