no wonder we suck. with the departrure of vilma, hobson, and robertson, look at what we have from boobway's 1st and 2nd rounds 2002-2005--these should be guys in their prime and playing for the jets--here's what that idiot drafted

02--bryan thomas (see gholston pick if u thinks Thomas is any good)
    jon mcgraw
    03--drob
    hobson
    04--vilma
    justin m.
    05-- jolley/nugent
    justin miller

    thanks Boobway!

Can't include Vilma and Robertson. They are only gone because Mangini refuses to play the 4-3.

    Dammit man...complaining again?

Mangini does refuse to play the 4-3, because he knows the 3-4. He's building this defense into a 3-4, and it's starting to take shape.

We have a nose tackle, and a pass rush now.

How about the act that Robertson was never a good pick? He was a workout warrior and the Pats duped the Jets into taking him while they took Wilfork. How's that working out?

Throw in the fact that Robertson wasn't big enough and has the issue with his knees? Anybody find it funny that Herm once again took a guy that has a similar knee issue? The Rams passed on Dorsey because a doctor told them with Dorsey's knee issus there was a good chance Dorsey will be out of football with 3-5 years.

Wilfork was drafted the same year as Vilma. I agree with the rest of your analysis of DRob

Who did the Pats take at that spot that year? Was it Ty Warren? I think that was the year I was screaming for Terrell Suggs. Was that the 03 draft?

How dare he decide what defensive scheme the Jets should use? Who does he think he is?

The Jets played 4-3 schemes in every single game of the 2007 season. Vilma and Robertson are gone because they could ONLY play in a 4-3 and were a detriment when the assignments shifted in the hybrid.

People are still saying Boobway? Doesn't that stop being funny around the same time you stop laughing at the word "poop"?

Maybe you could just type the word 'Boobway' over and over again 50 times and we could just read your mind, which is what you seem to expect.

I believe so...... I just wanted the JETS to keep their 2 first rd picks, and see what shakes out.

Palamalu and Barnett would've been a nice combo at the time :shit:

    06 - Brick, Mangold, Clemens

    07 - Revis, Harris

    08 - Gholston, Keller

This front office has more impact players in two years during the first and sceond than the last one did in 4. yet, we must hang them, they did not get the player I liked.

Why this thread when we're three drafts into Tannebaum and Mangini's regime? Get over it.

Why do you want to hang our players?
