Week 13 Games Sunday 12/6 1:00 Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs - The Chiefs will be honoring Derrick Thomas and retire his number at halftime Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers Philadelphia Eagles at Atlanta Falcons - Michael Vick's return to Atlanta Detroit Lions at Cincinnati Bengals - Bengals have won 3 straight against the Lions (all in Detroit) and 6 of their last 7 meetings dating back to 1983 New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins - The Dolphins and Pats have split the season series every year since 2004 except 2007. For that to continue in 2009 Miami will have to find a way to win. The Patriots will be wearing their Pat the Patriots uniforms. This is the last legacy game of the 2009 season. Oakland Raiders at Pittsburgh Steelers - This was once a great rivalry in the 1970's. Even though the Raiders have not lived up to their teams from the 70's there's always something special about these two teams facing each other St. Louis Rams at Chicago Bears New Orleans Saints at Washington Redskins Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars - To keep hope alive this is a must win game for each team. Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts - This could be one of the best games of the season with Tennessee as hot as can be trying to climb completely out of their 0-6 hole and get back into the playoff hunt while Indianapolis is trying to go 12-0 and win their 21st straight game which will tie the record set by the Patriots (2006 thru 2008) for the longest winning streak in NFL History Sunday 12/6 4:00 San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks - 49ers could tie up the all-time series at 11-11 with a win in this game but Seattle is tough at home. SF also needs the win to keep their fading playoff hopes alive San Diego Chargers at Cleveland Browns - If LaDanian Tomlinson rushes for 2 TDs he will have 9 straight 10+ rushing TDs to start his career. Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants - This will be a pivotal game for both teams season Sunday 12/6 8:20 Minnesota Vikings at Arizona Cardinals - Vikings have won 9 out of the last 11 meetings against the Cardinals since 1990. The last time the Cardinals defeated Minnesota was in 2003 when Josh McCown found Nate Poole in the end zone with :04 seconds left to knock Minnesota out of the playoffs Monday 12/7 8:30 Baltimore Ravens at Green Bay Packers - Each team has climbed back into the playoff race in recent weeks and cannot afford a slip up. Another exciting interconference matchup on MNF.
The Chiefs will be retiring Derrick Thomas' number at halftime of their game against the Broncos this weekend
Gotta hope Houston beats Jax, right? Green Bay over Baltimore. Tits and Phins are underdogs...stop me before I start getting excited about the Jets playoff chances again.
