Chicago at Detroit - A miserable season ends for these two teams.

New England at Houston - If NE wins they get the 3 seed. If Houston wins they will have their first 9-7 season and maintain their chance at the playoffs.

Jacksonville at Cleveland - Does Mangini keep his job with a win over Jacksonville?

Atlanta at Tampa Bay - With a win Atlanta will have the first back to back winning seasons in franchise history

Pittsburgh at Miami - A win for either team will keep their playoff hopes alive.

San Francisco at St. Louis - A win for SF will give the 49ers an 8-8 season and momentum going into 2010

Indianapolis at Buffalo - Indy will close out the season with their backups.

New Orleans at Carolina - Drew Brees will not start

N.Y. Giants at Minnesota - Minnesota needs to win and hope Philly loses to get a 1st round bye.

    4:00

Philadelphia at Dallas - Whoever wins this game will win the NFC East. If Philly wins they will get a first round bye.

Green Bay at Arizona - A possible preview of the NFC Wildcard

Kansas City at Denver - Denver tries to keep their playoff hopes alive without Brandon Marshall and Tony Scheffler.

Tennessee at Seattle - Chris Johnson needs 128 rushing yards get 2,000 and 234 to pass Eric Dickerson's single-season record and needs just 75 yards from scrimmage to break Marshall Faulk's record of 2,429.

Washington at San Diego - The end of Jim Zorn's reign as Redskins coach

Baltimore at Oakland -Baltimore is in the playoffs with a win

    nice summary of the games.

Franceser on the FAN this morning was bashing Bill Polian for last week, and he said this:

"He has a temper. He doesn't like arguments where he doesn't get to do all the arguing."

Hmmm, what other radio personality has those same character traits?

Franceser also told us a few weeks ago that the Jets weren't going to make the playoffs in part because the Steelers were going to run the table.

I guess he believed Mike Tomlin.

Little did he know, Tomlin has a dog named Hell.

http://www.playoffstatus.com also has the playoff possibilities.

Jacksonville could end up with the #5 seed at 8-8 if they win and:

    Patriots beat the Texans, and
    Dolphins beat the Steelers, and
    Bengals beat the Jets, and
    Chiefs beat the Broncos, and
    Raiders beat the Ravens

    while the Titans are done.

It's interesting that while the playoff teams in the NFC are completely chosen while those in the AFC are wide open (with 7 teams still possible for 2 spots), in the NFC 5 of the 6 teams still have a shot a first week bye (including the Saints guaranteed, of course), while in the AFC this is already set.

They will win the division at (10-6) with a loss, which would kinda depress me.

Steelers cap off a long drive with a TD pass. 7-0 assuming the XP.

Wes Welker just hurt his knee, looks like it could be a torn ACL.

Bernard Pollard made the tackle (same player that tore Tom Brady's ACL).

The tackle was after Welker twisted his knee though.

I don't care if he's on the Pats or not, it sucks to see that.

    Dolphins offense - good
    Dolphins defense - bad

Mike Wallace scores but the ball did not quite cross the goal line. Not reviewed.
