regarding kickers, football outsiders did research and concluded that FG accuracy is inconsistent, and if you're going to draft a kicker, you're better off looking at skill on kickoffs, a more consistent skill. but basically it's never worth paying a kicker big money or drafting a kicker high, when similar alternatives can be found more cheaply.
