The Bears seem to be doing a good job proving they're wrong about how the new kickoff line kills kickoff returns.
Fools claiming the kickoff rule hurts Chicago because of Devin Hester. Maybe it hurts Chicago, but it has little to do with Hester, who rarely returns kickoffs. In fact, Hester's last kickoff return for a TD was during the 2007 season! Anyway, talking about what statjeff mentioned: R.Gould kicks 70 yards from CHI 35 to NYG -5. D.Thomas to NYG 28 for 33 yards (D.Moore). R.Gould kicks 69 yards from CHI 35 to NYG -4. D.Thomas to CHI 31 for 73 yards (T.Jennings). R.Gould kicks 65 yards from CHI 35 to NYG 0. D.Thomas to NYG 32 for 32 yards (C.Johnson; D.Moore). Chicago: R.Lloyd kicks 70 yards from NYG 35 to CHI -5. J.Knox pushed ob at CHI 40 for 45 yards (J.Williams).
2010: Bears had 59 kickoff returns, 12 were by Hester 2009: Bears had 80 kickoff returns, 7 were by Hester
big blocked punt giants set up to score again Coughlin's failure to call timeout actually works out. Pretty dumb, regardless.
The review of TDs is BS. Coaches have challenge flags and they should still be forced to use their challenges on questionable TDs.
