    I'm so pissed that the Panthers are going to throw Newton on the field as a rookie. He's got every tool you could ever ask for in a QB, and if he works on his mechanics and gets some experience reading pro defenses he could be a superstar.

    If they throw him into the fire after a short offseason, behind one of the worst lines in football, he's going to have to scramble every play and he's not going to learn how to be an NFL QB.

    The Panthers should start Clausen, see if they can build up a little trade value for him, and let Newton learn from the bench for a season. Unfortunately, that's not gonna happen.

    I think showing the league more of Clausen will diminish his non existant trade value.

    Jordan Gross, Jeff Otah, Ryan Kalil? Not even close to being one of the worst O-lines in football. If Otah can stay on the field for a change they could have two 1K yard rushers again.

    It's a terrible choice to make. I'd rather forfeit every game than attempt to showcase either with how they've looked so far.
