    It didn't matter, he wanted to be 1 or 2. Once we signed Plax that sealed his fate as far as he was concerned.

    Cotchery wanted out because he didn't want to be the 3rd receiver. The last straw was when we signed Burress and immediately installed him as the starter across from Holmes. Ironically, Cotchery wound up being even lower on the depth chart with the Steelers. By the way, we didn't fail to retain him, we released him.

    absolutely, I hate NE more than any other team in the league. Whoever they are playing against automatically gets my vote.

    I hate Pitt for kicking our ass in the AFCCG and everything else over the years, but we want them to win big time today.

    Cotch wanted out, and his body is degrading. He has 1 reception in 8 games. Mason gave us more than that, as has Kerley. People being upset at Cotch moving on is about anything but football, and everything about the memories he gave us playing on our average teams in the 2000's. I love what J-Co gave us as much as everyone else, but he isnt giving the steelers anything this year. He wanted out, and it might have been a blessing for us.
