Yes, they did. And the Broncos finished with the same record as us. None of those count though, or that the Jets were said to have the worst roster in the NFL, one that would be hard pressed to win 1 or 2 games won 5. But that happens only because the HC was clueless.
1. Lac Edwards is the franchise punter we've been waiting for since Louie Aguiar. 2. Love or hate Teddy, keep him or trade him--you have to feel REALLY good for this guy. When shitty things happen seemingly great people, it's nice seeming them come back and succeed. Hope he goes on to have a great career. 3. That's all I've got.
I'm behind the times. I'm familiar with the WWW. Have heard of the dark web. The 98 other internets ? I didn't even know existed.
Oh yeah, one other thing, how could I forget. BOOGER MCFARLAND'S FINGERS! They gotta stop showing that shit.
1) chargers BACKUP o-line is better than jets starters 2) they have 2 edge rushers , while williams gets double and triple teamed. 3) lee is an olb, NOT an inside ilb. lee should swap places with martin. 4) if the tuna were running this team, you would see a parade of o-lineman each week for tryouts until he found at least 6 guys who can actually do the job. no matter how much better the tight ends and receivers are, the qbs can not do much running for their lives or on their backs. same is true for the running game.
don't forget that the jets were obliterated by the broncos in a matchup. really we shoud have had the 3rd pick in the draft, WITHOUT having to trade up!!!!
great post--Since you mention tuna, if he was running this team LEE would NOT be playing ILB another down. Todd No Bowles (Balls) WILL play Lee there the entire season, no matter how bad he plays. It is AMAZING to me that Bowles plays Lee game after game at ILB after Oakland totally embarassed him there in game 2 last year. It is equally shocking to me that Mac did not draft some OL help for 2018 (or any year before) after lowly Tampa Bay TOTALLY dominated the jets woeful OL last year--what an embarrassment (which apparently went unnoticed by the idiot GM of the jets)!!
both those teams are pretty bad though even with their stars. the giants o-line is worse then ours, eli has been awful the past 2 seasons and outside of beckham there isn't a good WR on the roster so ODB is gonna get triple-teamed all year. We seen ti last year without odell none of their WRs can step up. On top of that the defense is switching to a 3-4. vernon is playing out of position at OLB now and may not do that well. they also traded JPP. their pass rush isn't going to be good at all and their ILBs are weak too. harrison is the only thing stopping teams from running it down their gut all game long. Their secondary took a big hit too. apple is a bust, DRC is gone they have jenkins who had a down year and nothing else really and at safety while collins is one of the best in the NFL the rest of the group is awful. I cna't see the giants doing better then 6 wins provided barkley and ODB stay healthy the colts are in the same situation. Yeah luck is a stud but who is he throwing to? they have hilton who is good but nobody else. no o-line, no run game, no RB and their defense is probably worse then the giants. they are a 5-6 win team as well
Teams will not be triple teaming ODB. Thats a very Jethro like comment. Your smarter thant that . Shepard is a very good receiver and Engram is a great recieving TE. Not to mention Barkley as a recieving threat out of the Backfield. The O line is trash, especially on the right side, but probably a little better than ours at this point, not by much, but a little.
Did you see shpard play the last few years? far from good. hell he was so bad they signed marshall and demoted shepard. Of course marshall sucked and got hurt and ODB got hurt making shepard the number 1 and he was still pretty bad. Engram does look good for sure so good call on that, Kinda forgot about him but he isn't a gronk or kelce by any means.
Have you watched him the past FEW years? He's only been in the league 2 years. Three years ago he was at Oklahoma As a senior in 2015, he had 86 receptions for 1,288 yards and 11 touchdowns. He was injured last year, only played 11 games, and played them banged up, was the only playmaker the Giants had, was double and triple teamed and still had 731 yards recieving. As a rookie the year before he had 683 and 8 TD's Marshall had nothing to do with Shepard.Marshall was signed as a #2 outside Reciever. Shepard was their slot Reciever.
i've watched every jets and giants game in the past 30 years or so so yes i've seen him play alot. he'd be a WR5 on our team and at his best is a decent slot WR3. he's not starting material by any means. even with ODB taking pressure off him and engram developing well i cna't see shpard ever getting 1k yards unless they feed him he ball 300 times
