I heard something about the 2010 season having no salary cap, could someone please explain to me exactly how that effects everything? I mean in 2010 could Woody throw around as much money as he wants with no consequences on future seasons? Just wondering if someone could explain to me how an uncapped year works, thanks.

I haven't seen any explanation of how spending during an uncapped year would affect later capped years.

I don't think there will be an uncapped year, I think now that Gene Upshaw is gone the league and the unions will find it easier to come to agreement and a new agreement will be reached thus avoiding an uncapped year when the current agreement expires.
