From what I hear about Connor imagine if it had been him that decleated Channing Crowder last year instead of Washington? The guy would still be looking for his brain.

I feel bad for the kid who got hurt but God damn!!

They're gonna have to start red jersying the linebacking corp when he's on the field.

I love Tony Richardson...but I gotta tell you...this kid needs to play. He's like a defender on Offense...he delivers the punishment...brutal...I LOVE it!!! You know...I wonder how a confrontation with Connor and Ray Lewis would end up? Hmmmmm...guess we'll find out.

I'd like to keep both Conner and TRich for this season, as long as the coaches think TRich can still play. It can't hurt Conner to have an all time great teaching him.

my hope is that this kid can learn the intricacies of the position, learn how to find the right guy to hit. hitting them is huge but all he really needs to do is block them from making a tackle.

If he knocks a guy on their ass and keeps going, that's even better, because then he takes out two defenders.

Him coming through the hole may intimidate defenders if he gains a reputation for laying huge hits on guys.

I have no doubt that TRich can mentor him.

Trust me, it is way better that he knocks people the fuck out. The opposing defenders are going to keep their heads up around him. It is only a matter of time till word gets around. When it does, it will open up a little room for the offense.

No matter what anyone says, it is only human nature for that to happen. It happens in hockey all the time, just look @ Scott Stevens. I don't think I have wax poetic how tough most players were in that sport, in the 80's and 90's. The fuck if they didn't keep their heads on a swivel when he was on the ice though.

It will make a defender think twice and I can't freakin wait..........

Oh it definitely gets around the league in their heads. If he continues on that kind of path and does some serious knocking out word will get around. The only downside to this is his career will not be long...it's all well and good while he is young...

But damn skippy I'll enjoy it while it lasts ;)

Hopefully T. Rich will give him some pointers that will help him have a nice long career with the Jets. T. Rich has lasted a long time although he does not seem to lay the lumber the way Conner does.

No one lays hits like Conner in the entire camp.

The dude is going to be paramount in the 4th quarter when LBs don't want to deal with this guy anymore.

I can see plenty of DBs pulling a Cromartie around Greene and Conner this season.
