Hey guys I'm transferring to Binghamton next semester and I'm looking for a place to watch the games. Any bars that have the ticket? Any Jets bars in particular? Would appreciate any help, thanks.
Ill i know about that place is it is where the scene in rounders where they both get there asses kicked was based.
I'm sure this won't be of much help but here is a link you can look at: http://cityguide.aol.com/binghamton...gsLong&vsort=DISTANCE&layer=venues&query=Bars
I am from Binghamton. Lots of good sports bars, although I wouldn't call any of them "jets" bars. More likely Giants, Bills, Steelers, Philly, then Jets. Look up The Relief Pitcher, Bobs Place, Kellys, The Quaterback, and many more. Are you transfering to SUNY?
Yeah I am. It doesn't need to be a Jets bar. I just need a place that has the ticket so I can watch the games.
They are opening a new sports bar near the college called Tully's. They have 8 or 9 sports bars now from Syracuse to Buffalo and have all games all the time.
Tom and Marty's on State Street is a Jets bar, as well as the best bar in Binghamton. I went there every week the Jets weren't on(stupid Bills). Good food as well. They don't ID on Sunday.
Tom and Marty's is good. Close to party bars for later on. I've been to Tully's in Syracuse and if the one they're opening near SUNY is similar that will be a good place to go. A new bar "Bob's Place" in Endwell (formally O's Place) each table has it's own flat screen.
I didn't realize so many people lived in the area. I live about 25 miles north of Bing. I watch the draft at home. Football junkie. I like to get my fix in private. Fans can be asses so I stay away from possible fisticuffs. Tend to get defensive when it comes to my team.
Nice, thanks for all the info guys. Tom and Marty's it will be. I'm only 20, but I don't plan on drinking. I just need a place to watch the game when it's not on regularly. I'm in Buffalo now and I do like Tully's, but if Tom and Marty's specializes in the Jets, then thats where I gotta be.
Any of you Bing students or future students on facebook? I am- my name is Bryan Salz. I'm looking to meet people and finding diehard Jets fans is a good place to start.
