THIS GUYS GONNA HAVE 1000 YDS EASILY hes the best reciever ATL has seen in a while yes..he only had 770 yds last season BUT IT WAS ON 42 CATCHES an avg first reciever would get double the catches (30 of his 42 catches were for first downs) in 2004 season 54 catches for 1084 yds and 7 tds, pretty impressive... even more impressive were 40 of his 54 catches for 1st downs THE LAST 2 SEASONS HES AVG'D ABOUT 19 YDS PER CATCH this guy has blazing speed and can outrun a whole lotta corners i think youll see something special between him and vick this year
There is absolutely no way. Vick never gets his receivers a ton of yards and it takes a while for a WR to acclimate himself to the new offense, especialy one as stubborn as Ashely Lelie who expects the #1 job to be handed to him so he doesn't need to work for it.
lelie is a burner and a deep play threat, nothing else. he cannot do short routes and pickup a good 5-10 yds gain personaly i don't like him. i have him on my team as my backup's backup (5th wr)
i dont really think its fair to judge vick by his recievers he has brian finneran and not a whole lot more 5-10 yd catches arent even needed if 75% of his catches are for first downs already i dont know, this guy can be a playmaker or bust by sleeper i dont really mean pro bowl player..i mean he has a great chance to break out..which is true
If by sleeper, you mean "better than the 3rd string QB for the Lions who might not even make the final roster," then Lelie is great.
yea seriously lelie is a definite big play guy, but vick is terrible...maybe if anyone ever had done well at wr in that offense wr+falcons=no value maybe lelie will be the first?
