I am not in favor of Bad Bunny being the Halftime show for Super Bowl LX however, it won’t stop me from watching the game and a little of his performance to see if he really is entertainment. Roger Goodell and the owners gave Jay Z and Apple Music control of halftime entertainment so I guess BB is their choice. BB sells a lot of music and has a lot of popularity amongst a demographic NFL is targeting. The major beef I have with the NFL is the inclusion of protest and political comment during the game. I go to the Jets Home games and watch the away games on TV. For me, the game time experience is a chance to escape the world of grinding out a living, family turmoil, racial angst, and politics. It’s an opportunity to share a common hope for the team with like minded people. Unfortunately the NFL for me does not provide the escape it once did. Being a Jet fan doesn’t help. I too have endured the kneeling and the two national anthems. BB wouldn’t perform in the US because he was afraid ICE would target the concerts and go after his fans. While accepting a Grammy award on national TV he stated “ICE out”. Im sure he will slip something inappropriate into the halftime performance.
The Jets are not playing in the Super Bowl. Bad Bunny is not on the Jets. What football fan gives a rat's ass who the halftime entertainment is? Do we really need to hash this out here? If so, move it to the BS department - because that's what the whole big deal is - BS!
I used to look forward to the commercials until they got so watered down that they all became G rated. Regarding BB, the league is appealing to the younger generation of people, not us. This is for the 20-40 urban demographic. Smart move as this group will be the ones driving ticket and swag sales going into the future be it online or department stores not to mention the various sportsbook sites.
The halftime show has been bathroom break, food refill for years now. The only thing worse than this halftime show, is the ridiculous other alt halftime show. Let’s just get through this with a patriots loss
Bad Bunny was the top streamed artist in 2025 and multi time Grammy winner. He's also AMERICAN. The only people really complaining about this are far right racists. I'm not a pop fan or a fan of his music, but I understand the choice and people need to stop the whining. He's super popular and that's what the NFL cares about. MONEY. I couldn't care less about the halftime show. That's my time to do some food. I just care about the Patriots losing.
I found out this Bad Bunny guy already appeared in a Super Bowl halftime show, in 2020 with Shakira. A lot less bitching then. Maybe people didn't care cause Shakira was shaking her hips and thats all they noticed. Which would be reasonable, that is distracting...
