http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000489095/article/2015-nfl-draft-best-remaining-prospects Again, according to NFL.com, these are the best prospects left. So let's go shopping, who do you want them to take? What would be your "shopping list" for today if you're Maccagnan and Bowles?
I have a feeling Hundley is in our future. If not him (or the Qb position), we will either grab a RB or go OLine.
Just a shame whats happened to Collins out of LSU, if he didn't do anything and is completely innocent this sets his life back a year. As far as the draft TJ Clemmings and Jay Ajayi are exactly what i want in the 4th and 5th so it probably won't happen
Trenton Brown. the guy is going to be a beast at tackle. Got his weight down where it needs to be. longest wingspan in the draft. insane footwork for a mountain of a dude. has that orlando pace type first pinch (not saying he will be anywhere close to pace, just the technique). guy is being overlooked because it took him so long to grow into himself and struggles at gaurd. small sample but 5 games at tackle the dude looked impressive
I agree, Clemmings and Ajayi are probably the 2 best prospects remaining, at least the highest rated. (not counting La'el Collins) I'm also really surprised Hundley and Petty haven't been taken yet!
Best OL and RB sounds good to me. I think we are going to pick a QB today as well. I'm not overly enamoured with the idea but I think it will happen.
It was mentioned in another thread, he has a calcified stress fracture in his foot that has caused some teams to remove him from their board entirely.
Huh, wonder if it's something surgery can fix, grab him late then let him sit for a year. If not I have to rethink my above post.
Any combo of OL, RB or QB works for me. I'm hesitant to draft Clemmings considering the health issues mentioned. At RB, Ajayi would be a solid pick but Langford would give us some more speed. I'm fine with either. Petty, Hundley... sure why not? At this stage in the game you're just taking shots are you guys that you think might be able to contribute. I don't think there are any guys left that will provide a consistent outside pass rush. Take the best player available.
Definitely take a shot at Collins if somebody doesn't beat us to it. Dallas probably will and then I will surely puke.
I'm not exactly sure how much treatment/rehab he would require, if any at all. The fact that some teams aren't even considering him anymore makes me pause when considering him in rd 4 though.
Can you let us know what facet of either of those picks you'd complain about beforehand? That way we can just ignore and continue actually discussing with others.
Mayock just said many teams have taken Clemmings completely off their boards because of health concerns. I really don't want to blow a pick on this guy if Ajayi or Langford is available.
