Can't play defensive line without strong hands. The odds are probably 50/50 that JPP never plays another down in the NFL.
Both have been idiotic to be sure, but JPP could have injured himself enough that he's going to be down and out for a while; if not for good.
Depending on what Sheldon does from here on out--it could very well be Sheldon. He's close to a full year ban and then who knows. If JPP comes back relatively healthy, he'll be good to go and at least he'll be on the field. Put club on his hand and he can still wreak havoc. Not saying Sheldon is Josh Gordon but he could be Josh Gordon. _
Sheldon. He knowingly put himself in his position. Jpp had an accident doing something everyone has done. I know we thonk these guys should think only about football. But they are relatively young and living life. sometimes in life these things happen.
I think PP is flat out dumb. Sheldon may have a problem that smart doesn't fix. If he has a problem, but thinks he's so smart that he won't make the same mistake, without recognizing a problem, we're fucked on a great talent.
JPP by far. That takes a special level of stupid to accomplish. Richardson isn't an idiot, he's young arrogant and foolish. He needs to grow up.
Never know, JPP might have a fireworks addiction. First its bottle rockets and M-80s, next thing you know he is messing with sticks of dynamite and grenades. They think they know better, think it's only a couple of packs of firecrackers but soon that's not enough to feed that desire.
I think it's too early to tell.... at least right now it looks like JPP but Sheldon could still prove us wrong.
The NFL needs to stamp out the use of performance enhancing fireworks. If Justin Blackmon finds out about this, he'll be in low earth orbit before the end of next week.
JPP lost a finger from this, that is all kinds of stupid. After Sheldon's suspension his level of play won't be affected.
Jason Pierre-Paul was doing fireworks on the fourth of July and a freak accident happened. Everybody does them, it's like calling him an idiot for getting in a car accident (everybody drives). Sheldon Richardson was deliberately told when he was going to be drug tested, failed a test, then was told he would be tested 10 times per month and an infraction would result in suspension, and failed a second test. Winner Sheldon.
