There's some glaring issues that have been costing us this seasons. Wide Receiver - Why is Kerley never played? He's by far the third best receiver on the team. He may only be able to play slot, but he gets open more than Smith, catches the ball more than Smith and Enuwa. There is no reason why he should be benched when the offense is on the field and it's taking options away from Fitzpatrick. Cornerback - Why is Dee Milliner not playing? He's better than Cromartie. He's better than Walls. He's better than Skrine. He's better than McDougle. If he's on on the IR, he should be starting over those scrubs. Punt Returner - Kerley just has no feel for the position. I know we lost our dynamic returner when they got rid of Walter Powell, but there's gotta be a better option. He hesitates when he does catch it. He let's it go at questionable times. Punt Coverage - Why does he, week in and week out, continue to put guys on ST's who don't know how to maintain lanes, don't know how to tackle, and just generally do not understand how to play coverage? Also, never let Colon go to a game after today. He's proven he still costs us yards even when he doesn't play.
How about the simple refusal to double cover anyone? Hopkins, Watkins, Beckham, etc etc these guys are getting the same treatment as Brian Hartline. Unreal.
I still don't know why Cro is taking KR when we have 2 major inactives at CB and putting Decker at PR who's been dealing with a knee all year and is so crucial to the O and then he cut Aboushi. Worst move all season
My guess is they told Decker to fair catch it no matter what. They just needed someone who can actually catch.
Thought he had a really good game today...and even then do we want to see Walls and McDougle as our #1 and #2 corners? Yeah was thinking the same thing after I saw a couple punts. Man, I miss Jim Leonhard
At DB? He was mediocre at best. Milliner is the best #1 option on our roster as long as Revis and Williams are out.
