Braylon in Car Accident

    Jets receiver Braylon Edwards was involved in a minor car accident in Detroit early this morning. He was not seriously hurt.

    Local 4 reports that Edwards, who is from Detroit and was a star at Michigan, crashed his car on Belle Isle. Police said Edwards was driving too fast. They do not think he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

    The Detroit Free Press reports that Edwards lost control of his 2011 Audi at about 3:40 a.m., drove onto the grass and struck a pylon.

    Edwards had a 25-year-old male passenger in the car. He was also not seriously hurt.

    3:40 am.. at least he wasn't drunk. This guy should just quit driving and hire someone to chauffeur him around.

    The real question is; what the hell was he doing out at 4am? Nothing good happens after 12am bro. You would think this guy learned his lesson the last time. The NFL and NFL PA need to get this shit resolved soon. Young, inner-city, wealthy, and jobless are not good combinations. I guess he was just trying to support the local economy in Detroit though.

    It's the lockout/offseason, there's no issue in him being out after 4am.

    ehhh there is an issue with this. lockout or no lock out this guy has a history of going out, and staying our late. Drunk or not (do you really think he had nothing to drink this morning) he should be "acting as if". He is a FA afterall and one strike away from losing a year.....just saying
