If he comes really really cheap then yea. I wished the Jets kept him last year. He's not gonna be as good as he was in the past but he has chemistry with Mark so id rather him over Plaxico. Im really hoping Kerley makes a leap this year, he looked really good against the Dolphins
back to back?? When was his previous knee surgery done? Link? That's the first time I've heard this... Or are you making this up as you go along? Again...show me the link to the article/report on Braylon's FIRST Knee-Surgery that you claim it was last year(which is dumb since he had no issues with it unless 900+ yards receiving was done by some other guy named Braylon)
He had surgery during the season and missed some games. I don't think it was major but he definitely had surgery early this season. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/09/21/braylon-edwards-had-knee-surgery/
Okay so you're basically saying : I'd rather have a washed-up slow-as-fuck ex-con on this team who is only good for Red-zone action than Braylon. Am I right? How are his knees fucked? This is the first surgery I've ever heard of involving his knee. Bring him in for a physical when FA starts and if he's good to go, then he's good to go. EDIT : UKilledKenny gave me the 411. okay so he did have surgery last season and missed some games. My bad but like he said, it was MINOR. So really that has no bearing on the current 2nd surgery he had. We'll see what happens...
Thanks for the info. However, it still didn't affect him in the least as you and I saw. This current 2nd Surgery is the one to look at. That's why I say to bring him in for a physical after Free-agency begins to see if he's healthy 100% or not.
He had knee surgery in September and was subsequently cut after looking shit when he came back, he just had surgery again on the same knee. For a guy who seems to love Braylon you are woefully unaware of what the guy has been up to.
Dude, he did nothing this year. How can we not think that might have had something to do with needing surgery in September? I would be in favor of bringing him in for cheap but his knee is going to be a concern.
He had a very minor one during this season missed a week or 2, played after it http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/09/21/braylon-edwards-had-knee-surgery/
Not saying i am. But his market value now should below what the 9'ers got him for which was far less than Holmes or Plaxico.
I think there is some kind of misunderstanding here. For some reason I thought you were referring to 2010. Don't know why.... My BAD. Still stuck on 2011.
He was on a team with the 5th fewest passes, and had little time to accumlate to the team, and was injured during it. Eitherway he will get a prove it contract where a team can easily bail out of
Let's be real, his hands were fine when he played for us. What good are the routes if you run slower than shit?
Yes we all agree that Plax sucks and needs to go, however that doesn't mean compounding the problem by bringing in another wideout who will be worthless all year.
