Does anyone know if their rookie contracts are over after the 2009 season

its hard to imagine these years just flew by-----i dont know if any of them signed a 5 year deal

its also amazing the patriots dont seem to be bothered by this----guy come and go but the team remains very strong----same as for the colts ---giants--pitt etc

I believe we have Mangold signed through the 2010 season. I think Leon becomes a RFA after this year.

well damn, brick has a 10 million dollar team option in 2012? wowzer. he wont see that, that is for damn sure. Leon will get a new deal prior to next offseason starting, and Mangold after getting to his second straight probowl will be getting a new deal after next years draft as well.

    D'Brick:

    2011: $10 million (Club Option)

Does this mean that if we opt to keep him for the 2011 season, we would pay him a whopping 10 mil.?!

If he continues to bulk up and improve the way he did from '07 to '08, he may. The improvement from '07 to '08 was drastic and while his run blocking was still average at best in '08, he was much better in that category than previous years.

He will be well worth the money if he continues to improve at that rate because he'll be a solid all around LT and one of the best in the league.

I just hope they lock in Mangold and LW long term - those guys are key.

so is Brick, but to find someone better than brick is to find the elite left tackles... not an easy feat.

Granted. I guess I'm just more of a Mangold/Washington fan but I'd like to see D'Brick stay as well.

    They'll just extend/re-structure.
