Its amazing that we get so worked up actually. I know I for one dont ever expect anything out of the Jets, its just the result of my experiences with them. Last nights game pretty much sums it up, they get your hopes up and always let you down in the end. The dropped pass by Chrebet playing Denver, the two missed fieldgoals by Dougy, the force out on Baker called incomplete, the last minute drive to a miraculous kick by an over the hill kicker to tie the game in the last seconds just to have the other team kick a record breaking FG to win the game. We always are on the cusp of competitiveness but always fail when it counts, especially in games we should win. I will not let myself be crushed by this team until they start actually proving themselves.

Remember the Giants game vs. the Browns and how the Browns were beating the Giants at the LOS all night. Now look at the teams this week. An OL can have a bad game, it doesn't mean they're all crap.

That's last year genius. I'm talking about this year. So it's ok for other teams to beat the crappy teams, but when the Jets beat those teams it's "yeah, but look who we've played". You play who's on your schedule. I guess this is your new "Pennington".
Yeah but we got 3 losses now, the Giants only had 1. Plus we've never been as dominant as the Giants were. Even the Cardinals game that Kurt Warner tried to hand us, they stormed back into the game.

And an indicator of how you will fare when you play the good teams is how you perform against the bad ones. We have done nothing to show that we are anything better than mediocre and have not earned the right not to be criticized. The Giants are the Sb Champs until proven otherwise. I don't care about other teams I care about the Jets. If we lose to the Raiders, Barely beat the Dolphins and don't blow the bengals out the building there is reason for concern. We have not done anything to earn the respect that the Pats or Giants have. When we win a Sb or at least make the Afc Championship game We can talk about it.
No one was respecting the Giants last year until they went on their run. Now, this year people are sucking their collective ****s. And in case you've forgotten, the Giants had trouble with the Bengals too. But it's obvious that since Chad's not here for you to bitch about, you've found something else to bitch about in every thread.
