All of use who post here have our own ideas about the information we've found and processed about the draft and needs of our team and the others.

But tomorrow we are going to see what actually is the reality on the other side of all this smoke and mirrors. In this regard, the Draft is much like the first real football game where you see what happens with all the work and preparation and pre-season maneuvering.

I wonder whether we are going to be disappointed at the gap(s) between what we want to happen and what actually does -- or will we be just as interested in trying to understand what the 'actors' in the Draft intend and where they are going with their decisions.

A lot of times, a draft pick's experience is a combination of what he comes to the team with PLUS what his coaches do with him. The best scenario I think is that the mix is 20% what he comes with and 80% what happens to him with good coaches and appropriate strategies that fit his strengths and learning.

A lot of the complaints about Draft busts may actually come from changes in schemes and coaching regimes more than what the Draft pick came to the game with.

What will be the NYJ's narrative after this weekend?
