hey all, not sure if this post is in the right spot or not. i live in jersey, and usually drive to the games from home on sundays. however, this sunday i'll be in NYC before the game, and was wondering where to get the bus from, and where it drops you off at the stadium. how much does the bus cost, and how frequently does it run. any answers are appreciated. thanks a lot.
Never did it, but this says you can grab a bus at port authority... http://www.njtransit.com/nn_mbs_4.shtml
Port Authority,it drops you off right there. I haven't done it in years, but these things rarely change.
I've done it many times and am doing it on sunday. They start about 2.5 hours before the game and leave up to 30 min after the kick off. It cost about 7 dollars round trip and take anywhere from 15-30 min depending on traffic. I would advise you to get the bus ticket early because the line to get the bus ticket is long than the line to get on the bus.
164 If you want to get there early to tailgate, the NJ Transit bus # 164, via Port Authority, runs all day from 7am. You need to tell the driver where you're going or he'll blow right by the Sports Complex.
