Cotchery needs 92 yards to break 1,000 yards on the season. does he get it this week or not?

I think I got this right. I'm buying it!! I would go over the top and say with all the motions and pre-snap change ups from the jets we will see 2 100 yds receivers this wk!!

Nope, because the game is in hand in the 4th quarter, and we stop throwing and drain the clock.

I voted NO in the 1st poll like this a couple days ago too.

I'm buying. Cotch can catch 6-8 balls for 90+ yards.

Oakland has a good pass defense but can't stop the run. Count on a lotta Leon

If this is regular season , it may be a bridge too far ,as the Raiders pass D is actually quite good. Still voted yes as I'm downing kool aid like my life depends on it

Against the #1 pass defense in the NFL?

    Nope. Not going to happen.

I have full confidence in Mayor Cotch making it to 1,000 yards this season.

Root for him not to make it, since that will mean that the Jets have had success running the ball and burning the clock.

One exception: a play like the one earlier this year against the Pats where he took a 20 yard pass and turned it into a 70 yard pass.

Like i said in the last thread, I dont think he will make it just because of Oakland's pass defense and i think we will be running it more and protecting some of our starters.

since Coles is hurt I think that Cotch will be the #1 option in the pass game that is why I voted yes

    Im buying.

Coles isnt 100% this week and Cotch will have a big day, Raiders defensive numbers are skewed due to the conservative play of teams when they play them. Nobody wants to beat themselves.

Which is exactly why the Jets will try to run the ball, since the only way they lose is if they beat themselves.

I'm buying it. Coles is banged up and i think because of that Chad might look to Cotchery more this week.
