Brandon Jacobs of the Giants. He is very talented and is a big RB. People say he is bigger than Strahan.

Can we make a trade maybe get D-Rob in the mixed, or together with erick coleman.

we probably could, but i doubt we would

we already have a backfield overflowing with mediocre talent

No, thats never going to happen. He's going into his 2nd year, why would the Giants trade him? And we can't trade Robertson his cap hit would be huge. And just because he's big doesn't mean he's good.

Player for player trades are very rare in the NFL.

I like Jacobs, but he is only a short yardage RB and runs with a very high center of gravity. I'd definitely pass, especially since we have Houston. We'd be giving up way too much young talent for someone whose talents don't branch out very far.

I'd rather have Derrick Ward back than pay up for Jacobs.

Why would they trade 2 players from defense and leave 2 huge holes in the defensive lineup, for a 2nd year RB when the Jets already have 4 RBs on the roster? Not to mention the cap hit and having to sign players to replace the ones you just traded away.

Yeah great trade if DRob for a 3rd string RB isn't bad enough, you also want to give up our starting SS.. Don't quit your day job my man..

Yeah, I totally agree. I'd say 80% of the people on this board have no faith in DRob whatsoever. Many people say NT is our weakest position, but I disagree. The guy is still young, and he has shown some flashes in the past. Give the guy a chance in the new system, and I think we might be pleasantly surprised.

This sounds like a good idea we could really use a RB like this. Maybe we can throw D'Brick and next years first in with the deal.

Actually, that would work! Because in training camp you can get the gold medal at the highest level and increase Jacobs' carry and break tackles ratings!
Great deal and value. Let's throw in some draft picks so the ps2 will accept the trade! I would do this in a heartbeat!

I'm not saying trade d-rob and E coleman are you guys dumb. What I mean is this look we have a lot of good safeties Maddox, Smith Rhodes, E. Coleman and D-RoB is no use under that new regime. Jacobs is the next best thing since Bettis we get him now our holes to fill can come in next years draft. We can keep Oelf to replace D-rob and next year we draft a NT. Now with the cap hit in trading D-Rob I don't know how big it is
