Thats something we nor the team should pay attention too. We WON that game with great defense......consisten offense and better coaching then them. We are the better team and we proved it. On to the bye week then Buffalo fuck everything else thats all I'm focused on and I'm sure thats all the Jets are focused on
unbelievably lame comments by the classless chargers. this is partly why that team is best known for losing when it counts. They were outplayed in the football game but instead of acknowledging a good game - the chargers immediately start pointing fingers and blaming each other. Norv has been nothing more than a mediocre at best HC and his teams usually lack character and resiliency. So its really no surprise to see them blaming the other guys in their own locker room rather than tipping their hats to the Jets for a good win. stay classy san diego.
jets had their foot off the gas pedal in the first half, this makes no sense, a unintelligent douchebag just upset after a loss to a team that talked shit before the game and won
"their seondary ain't nuthin'" ~ Randy McMichael. After Rivers threw 2 INts 1 to Revis for 64 yds and 1 to Wilson for 10 yds. The Chargers 2d half possessions were as follows: Punt, Punt, Punt, INT, INT, Downs. The Jets D shut down McMichael and Rivers and Jackson and Gates in the Second Half. Pretty good game by the Jets overall. They are improving and coming from behind to shut down the Bolts and grind out the win was impressive. Regardless of what McMichael thinks
who knew Randy McMichael still played? It's the same line he and the dolphins used to use when we dominated them early last decade.
Meh. After a loss one tends to look more at what should have been done or that was done poorly than the successes of the winning opponent. We do the same thing when the Jets lose. Whatever...
I don't disagree for hte most part. It's the classy thing to credit an opponent. But I also tend to have limited patience for that, after a point. Think about those three Jet losses and how Rex would say "that's a great team over there" in response to questions why the Jets lost. You want the focus to be on fixing things to have a better outcome next time out, not sounding too much in awe of the team that just beat you, and I think that applies not just to fans, but players, too.
Who gives a fuck? Nobody gives you credit for being a good loser. Neither does being a sore loser get any credit. I don't give it a flying fuck either way. The game is in the bags by now, no?
I can see why they'd be pissed off. That was a close game, and the refs were on acid. Add to that the fact that Philip Rivers may be the dumbest box of rocks I've ever seen, would get pretty angry in the locker room.
I of course was happy with the outcome, and we know the Jets more often get shafted by the refs than helped, but I can understand if the Chargers are not happy about the officiating. Of course it wasn't the officials who threw two second half INT's, or who injured their two running backs. Or who played Cason in man coverage on Burress right through one two and three TD's. But the refs were definitely on something alright.
holy shit...Gates looks a lot older than i thought he did that and.... I dont blame McMichael for saying that shit. They lost a heartbreaker and he was pissed. I believe they call it "butt hurt". I played sports my whole life and the last thing you want to do after you lose a heratbreaker is give the other team "credit"
