what about charles rodgers? he appears to be the odd man out in the receiving corp in detroit, and has flashed his talent, but never been able to stay on the field. he's got a chance to be cut over in detroit, could the jets make a play for him? he's big, and could be a playmaker....

    just a thought.

If we don't have to give up anything for him and can sign him to a one year contract, even if it is expensive I don't see why not. He could turn into a potential weapon.

I doubt Mangini would sign the guy with his history anyway.

I'd take him for a 5th round pick.

I'd rather score Mike Williams, but this guy, if he can stay clean and healthy, is a #1 WR on any team. Tough call indeed.

It is Detroit up there afterall. I still think we should have taken Joey Harrington. but Mangini went with Ramsey.....

the least u can do is get ur facts right if ur gonna bash a guy.. Drugs? are u talking about when the excess amount of water found in his system at the training camp and they thought he was masking. this turn out to be a mistake. if i remember correctly.

How can you criticize xJetsx when you're not even sure of the situation yourself? You tell him to get his facts straight, then follow it up by saying it was excess water "if I remember correctly". You're defending Rogers and you're not even sure if your own "facts" are correct.

he's played a few games, just he gets hurt quickly and he wasn't the number one guy like his draft status would lead you to believe. Roy at least has played like a pro bowler when he's not hurt as well.
