11/6/2025 Colts 7-2 - #32 selection Vs. Falcons (in Germany) Bye week @chiefs Vs. Texans @Jaguars @SEAHAWKS Vs. 49ers Vs. Jaguars @Texans Cowboys 3-5-1 - #46 selection Bye week @Raiders Vs. Eagles Vs. Chiefs @Lions Vs. Vikings Vs. Chargers @Commanders @Giants The Colts schedule is brutal. 10-7 isn’t crazy. They’ll lose to the Chiefs and Seahawks. I’d guess they split the 4 remaining division games but I’ll get them 3-1. The 49ers is probably a loss. That’s 11-6 at best. The Cowboys only seem to be able to win at home. They’ll beat the Raiders. Lose to the Eagles, Chiefs, Lions. I’ll give them both the Vikings and Chargers games. Split the division games at the end of the year. 7-9-1
If we can get the Colts in the mid 20s and Cowboys in the low 40s that’s a big win. And then assume we end up somewhere on 3-5 range. Two picks in the top 25 and three in the top 40 would be a real nice jump start to a rebuild. I actually think the Colts will do well though. Like 12-5. Better chance of the Cowboys completely falling off IMO. That defense is still wildly broken. They added a DT and an LB that has struggled in coverage the last year, neither of which help their biggest weakness.
Great thread. Even though I like the Colts, at least I will be happy for the Jets draft pick positioning.
I didn’t think they were winning very many games anyway so even while I agree with you I think we still end up with a pick in the low 40s, hopefully high 30s.
To me, simplistically, best case for the Colts is Division winners 25-28. I don’t see them winning the conference. If they go wild card on some fluke is 20-24 worst case. We should be getting a top starter in a position of need. It will be massively interesting to see when the QB run starts. Jags technically are only one game behind, but Trevor is not showing he can pull wins off consistently.
Jags still have the Titans twice and the Jets, on their schedule, Colts already had their 2 against the Titans and don't play the Jets. They also play head to head twice so a split there and I think it will be pretty close on who takes the AFC South.
As of the start of week 11: 5. Jets 32. Colts 37. Jets 44. Cowboys Really need the Colts to start sucking but I don't think it's gonna happen. They're quite for real for as long as Taylor is healthy.
I could see the Colts pick being in the high 20s all said and done, hopefully they fall off next year like the Commanders this year.
