geez - you probably have 2 many fingers to count how many fans had the jets pegged at 10-6 AND a wild card game........ i had them at 6-10 at best with a rookie QB getting the nod some time this year..... it goes to show you rookies on board that football has so many variables on and off the field but the one constant is that you need a staff, including management, that is thorough and efficient with things on and off the field. they need to sleep, eat and crap football and not spend time with the media talking alot of fancy non-sense but really saying nothing. this has been a mostly enjoyable year to be a fan - much less stress and bitchin than in years past. no bitchin about time management, player selection, playing time, play calling, etc etc. we have a well oiled football team on and off the field. we all can sit back and enjoy the ride - not this year but for the next 5 years - its superbowl or bust. lets go into NE and give it a shot. no one else will. time for this darksider to be a cheerleader for another game this year. what a difference. BTW - wouldn't it be something if the jets and CHIEFS upset everyone and met in the AFC title game - in jersey. oh boy - now that would be something, huh. happy new year jil
It's about damn time too Jil. That entire Edwards episode was getting old. Every year watching old guys trot out there, the same plays getting called at the same moments of the games, the same comical yet sadly informative new conferences... For once, after all these long years, its a good day to be a Jets Fan!
