I feel like a lot of the common criticisms of the offense, while valid, can be explained by the fact that our team as a whole seems to have lost its ability to control the pace of the game. Because our offense always seem to be in reactive lately, it's hard to give as many carries to the backs as we'd like. We also do try to establish the run on some drives, but it often leads to infuriartingly common scenario this season of three-and-outs because we'll run twice or throw short/run once, set up a third and short and then not convert. Then the other team will move the ball down the field wit ease and we get the ball back in react mode.

They must do a better job converting on third down, and keep the chains moving.
