Cox is our " in" for Bentley

    Cox and Bentley were teammates in 2002. I remember hearing Cox on the radio saying how much respect he had for Bentley and cox has always had a great influence on young players

    Bentley won't be a Jet, but if he becomes one, I may miss Mawae a little less.

    I never bought into these "friendship signing" stories. There are a handful of guys that could convince him to come here - Franklin, Grant, Jackson, Hamilton, Lincoln, and Washington.

    Aren't Ted Washington, Bobby Hamilton, and Lincoln Kennedy all Raiders though? How is that going to help! Did they pick up Grant Wistrom as well?

    They sure are. Maybe I have it all wrong. Out team hostess Sofonda Cox might be just what's needed to lure Bentley to New York. Particularly when the competition is 1000 pounds of rancid Raider meat.

    Well I say we are contenders in getting LeCharles Bentley, as currently we are under the cap - plus with Pennington's restructuring and the probability of Abraham being dealt, we will have plenty of space to go for a guy like LeCharles. The only thing is, if we can get to him before Philly does... but you never know now a days.

    Bentley would be a nice way to begin rebuilding the offensive line. I don't see it happening, but one can hope.
