Got home just in time, practice is about to begin. Let's not turn the ball over today @ Offense.

I'm not sure what's going on with Aboushi, he should be the clear cut choice at RG. Hopefully Bowles is just trying to figure out the backups. We should be set with Carp & Aboushi.

if Qvale impresses, it could spell trouble for Winters, Aboushi and Dozier..

there is no way Aboushi should be clear cut anything...
he'll have to earn a roster spot imo..

we do have depth no doubt.
but do we have a starter? someone needs to step up and separate......and maybe show some position versatility.

He started last year and played well, way better than Colon and Winters, that's enough for me to put him back in there. If we go back to Winters or Qvale (never heard of him) it'd be like benching Geno for Matt Simms.

he started last year only after Winters tore his ACL.
while he played adequate at times (and better than Winters), he was inconsistent and certainly didn't play 'well'.
he was a well below avg G, and not better than Colon imo. he also lacks any position versatility.

they are all fighting just to make the roster.
someone needs to step up and claim the role, or it will just default to Colon again.

It's all about a receiver's "window" for receptions. A receiver that can haul in passes with a wide window takes a lot of pressure off QBs. Especially in poor weather. Its been a long time since we had a player like that. Marshall is past his prime a little but he still offers that

This is going to be HUGE for Mr. Geno this year. Brandon is going to make a ton of catches we're used to seeing picked or fall incomplete.

He was absolutely way better than Winters, not that that's saying much. Winters is god awful.
