    It’s been reported that he’s friends with Carr and had already bought a house in LV. When he hit FA, he was going to Vegas. The Packers just used the tag as a tool to get some premium draft picks. #gangster

    The sides already have worked out a contract, with Adams becoming the highest-paid receiver in the league. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports it’s a five-year, $141.25 million deal, giving him an average of $28.25 million. Imo (To much for any WR, especially 29 year old.)

    Adams reportedly told the Packers earlier this week he won’t play on the franchise tag this season. The Packers and Adams had until July 15 to work out a long-term deal but were far apart on a deal, prompting the quiet talks with the Raiders.

    Adams already has purchased a house next to his new quarterback, Derek Carr, in Las Vegas, per Rapoport.

    Adams, 29, has made five consecutive Pro Bowls and two All-Pros.

    There ya go! Jets related now, as Zach Wilson probably feels bad for Aaron Rodgers since he just lost his WR1, who is arguably the best WR in the NFL! :D:cool:

    That’s big money and I’m happy for him, there is going to be a big difference between who gets him the ball, I hope he can put up similar numbers.

    I guess we should pencil in a WR at 22 or 28 in all mock drafts now.

    The top WRs won’t be there at 22. If they’re really “all in” with Rodgers, they should trade 22 and 28 and try and get a pick in the top 10 :rolleyes:

    The Jets got more for Jamal Adams than the Packers did for Davante Adams.

    Adams was never playing another snap for the Packers. He was going to LV first chance he got. The Packers held him hostage and released him when they paid the ransom.

    The Jets need a GM to perform miracles and raise the dead. Gangsters can’t do that. Only wizards can do that.

    The Packers need someone to strong arm top talent and play with the books. Gangsters do that.

    Packers are getting ready for the transition that’s going to be taking place with Rodgers, just like he took over for Brett.

    They will also try and get another WR on draft day. They won’t leave Rodgers without any weapons.

    Adams got paid but Carr is no Rodgers, LV will probably be regretting this in a couple of years.
