After watching the ESPN coverage of last nights win over the Eagles I am wondering if there were any other players in the game besides Mike Vick who was inconsistent at best and a little bit of Dirty Sanchez who looked great. Also can anybody explain to me why Vick only misses 2 games for sadistically murdering dogs but Pace misses 4 for taking PED and Ellis misses one for possessing some mary jane?

The willingness of the media to fellate mick vick is truly unbelievable. He is a convicted felon and a sadist animal torturer. That of course was never mentioned during ESPN's Vick Spooge fest.

He's one of the top three biggest story lines of the summer, if not the top story. It was the 4th preseason game. The extra attention was expected.

ADDED: Vick missed two seasons, BTW, not two games. Also did a little time.

He was under indictment or in Jail for two seasons. As soon as he could play he missed 2 regular season games.

He is not a big story - he is a big loser. The media is truly disgusting - they should report on the game. Instead they want to make everything into a frikken soap opera w/vick as the lead idiot. Ainge gets no time, Woodhead nothing, the fact that the Jets won is lost in the shuffle because Vick played. This makes the brett farvre worship pale by comparison. Enough bad things cannot happen to Vick and the Eagles this season. Go Cowboys, Go Giants, Go Skins !!!

Aye, God, you got that right, AS. It's ridiculous. Showing him crossing himself, all of that shit. They're making it seem like he was wrongly convicted, that he's a victim, that he did something honorable and we should feel sorry for his misfortune - you know, THE MISFORTUNE HE BROUGHT UPON HIMSELF. Fukk that herpes infested punk. If Goodell didn't allow Adam Jones back in the league, we're not even having this conversation.

It's called concurrent sentencing. We live in a country where a man can be forgiven. Don't like it, move to Iraq.

He didn't murder dogs; he killed a few Pit Bulls.

    He still blows though.

What does that have to do with the NFL? Why isn't the NFL punishing him for what he did like they do everybody else? Just get arrested and you sit 8 games. Stallworth did his time and he gets a year. I don't think Pacman Jones was convicted of anything and he too sat out a year but Vick goes to jail and gets nothing? A huge double standard there.

ESPN sucks. I stopped watching it a long time ago and my anger subsided.

Because he has already missed TWO YEARS of football. Are you not going to count that against him?...I hate him, but I think he has served his punishment and deserves no more in future.

Pacman was and is full of shit. He has no clue WTF he does. Just see his bio. He had multiple arrests, mutliple run-ins with the law, and a hand full of murder cases at every strip club he went to. He has his own gang, that will bust u open if u stopped him from messing with a stripper. See his videos.

As for Vick, this was his first time run-in with the law (Atleast the first I've heard). He hasn't been in other run-ins, hence the lesser punishment. If he does it again, you can bet he won't be taking another snap in the NFL. Its not that hard to understand, besides the fact that mankind is the greatest of all creations.

Does Ron Mexico ring a bell?

    How about the airport incident?

You sir, are very underinformed when it comes to all things Mexico. He has been in trouble in the past and probably had more incidents that got swept under the rug when he was still Blanc's golden boy. That, however, doesn't change the fact that he took his punishment and served his time and is now being allowed to re-enter society and earn a living the best way he knows how.

I think he is a piece of shit as a person, but I will not deny a man rehabilitation and a chance to practice his craft after serving his debt to society. The rest of y'all are just unforgiving assholes or jealous haters.

Because Vick is a 'huge story'. Hype overrides justice in Goodell's system. He has a product to sell.

    This ^

if stallworth sold jerseys like vick does then he wouldn't be suspended a year. i think the problem that most people have with forgiving vick is what he's done and the fact that had he not been caught hed more than likely still be doing it.

First time run in maybe but only because he hadn't been caught. He broke the law everyday for 4 or 5 years. I'm not saying Pacman was a saint. I'm saying he wasn't ever convicted of anything and he got suspended for a year. Vick spends 2 years in jail and gets a slap on the hand..I know all about double jeopardy but it doesn't pertain here. The NFL owes him nothing. He should have at least had to sit out 8 games.
