It's preseason . . . coaches NEVER run their real plays and almost never gameplan for specific opponents. Again, people, these games are completely and utterly meaningless and have no bearing on how the Jets will fare this season.

Don't bother getting your hopes up because you almost definately won't. If you notice, the playcalling is particularly bland and uninspired in the preseason. Coaches hold back their best packages and plays, and more importantly, don't gameplan for their opponents. (Actually some will gameplan for the 3rd preseason game but most still don't) Rex Ryan has specifically talked about how he holds virtually the defensive playbook out of preseason games. I remember him joking about this at length last year right after the Jets shutout Houston in the season opener. FYI, the vast majority of coaches are like Rex

Missouri, TCU, FSU whatever...but not the Wildcat. That just reminds me of the formation the Dolphins think they invented.

It's the Single Wing, and has been around since the Pop Warner days.
Miami, to their credit, reintroduced a version of it very effectively.

If you got the personnel to mix it in, it can have some value.
And between Brad Smith, LT, and our O-line, i think we'll see some more of it. Especially if Sanchez plays like last night.

I think we should still use it regardless of how Sanchez plays, we run it well and effectively, obviously we shouldn't go overboard, but just do it like we've been.

I saw the Jets run the same run play 3 times on one drive. They're not showing anything special.
