First off, Chad has cemented my opinion of him as one of the greatest Jets of all time, he is pure class with guts. I was horrified by our performance last night, we were horrible in all facets of the game, how Chad managed to pull off 2 scores is beyond believe. We all knew our O'line was suspect- oh man they suck! Ok the Pats are a great team but the time Brady got in the pocket was embarrising, measure this against Chad scrambling around making quick reads whilst their pass rushers were pounding down him, we have regressed no doubts- maybe this was a one off poor performance by all our personnel, please God let us rebound in style if not our season will be in the can by week 5. Anyone who thnks Clemmens is going to make a difference with this O'line is in cloud cuckoo land, looks like he might have to start against Baltimore next week, the poor guy will be in therapy by week 3. I hope and pray I'm wrong but it looked to me last night like I was watching a team who would be picking number 1 in the draft.
Obviously we played badly, as is said in every other thread. You're right about Clemens not making any difference though, i don't see how anyone short of Peyton Manning, Vince Young (scramble ability,) Brees, or Brady, could play well behind that line.
I was very excited to see him come back after that injury, I also liked the intensity he showed right after he was injured (but the injury did suck though :sad
