Brady is famous for grabbing every inch of forward progress he can get when he scrambles, and I think that was taken into account. The defender did lead with the helmet but although the video breaks up a little it looked like it was a helmet/shoulderpad combination hit and the guy was trying his ass off the keep Brady from moving forward. Yes, it looks dirty, but I bet most NFL greybeards would laugh at that hit.
