    There is a poll on NFL.com of WHo is the AFC East tem to beat?

    Bills: 4%
    Dolphins: 15%
    Jets: 61%
    Patriots: 20%

    True, we need to earn this respect on the field. But it's just great to know that we have opened everyones eyes. My motto going into this season is that if you dont cheer us, then fear us!

    Why do people give a sh1t. Whaaaa, they always slam the Jets, whaaaaa, we get no respect.. . wtf does respect get you anyway? Do we get a free win, or a free trip to the playoffs or something? Give me a 13-3 season with zero respect over 9-7 with all the polls showing us to be SB favorites any day.

    The 2009 playoffs took place on a field. Does that count?

    This isn't the case of an average or poor team making offseason moves and becoming a favorite. This team was very good last year, and figures to be a lot better next year, for a lot of reasons. Polls don't mean more than games, they just are what they are. There's a lot of good reasons for people to say the Jets are the team to beat right now.
