Football next season - might happen

    I'm on the fence. I would love to see more football, but with the way injuries are going it doesn't make a lot of since. I suppose quality over quantity is what it will boil down to.

    I don't have a huge issue with an 18 game season - I love the idea of more football - but if it has a significant impact upon the quality then I can be persuaded otherwise. I'm more concerned about a lockout than I am the number of games currently.

    Football players are getting better every year, I don't think adding just 2 games to the season will noticeably effect the quality. I'm most definitely on board for an 18 game season, make it happen!

    18 games with 2 bye weeks would get rid of that dead spot between the super bowl and march madness.

    Teams should be allowed to expand their rosters by a few players to account for the two extra games.

    The problem with an 18 game season is that you see how teams wear down by the end of the year, right now. If we're going to make the regular season longer, the playoffs will suffer.

    I really think it is a good idea to play 18 games in the season because a longer football season.
