https://x.com/NFLonCBS/status/1736483515393261579?s=19 Guess who GW is complaining to Rodgers about: A) Santa Claus B) Bill Gates C) Vladimir Putin D) The Jets' halfwit OC
Feels like when you watch the Rams they’ve run like 6 total plays since McVay has gotten there and there’s always a receiver crossing behind the offensive line at the snap into the flats and a deep over route. And it all just works. Watch the Jets and we’re consistently running 5 wide all receivers run a 4 yard stop route 6 yards away from each other on 3rd and 13.
Rinse and repeat for 2024. Let’s prepare for another year of pure crap offensively no matter who JD brings in. And then let’s complain that whatever O player JD brought in is no good, blah, blah, blah, and JD sucks, while the same incompetent OC staff continues to display the identical ineffective garbage performance, be it at training, play calling, under utilizing our talent base and not ever smart enough to put our players in the best position to maximize their strengths. Let’s just start blaming JD now for the right reason, not recognizing his mistake with this coaching staff and firing the whole bunch of them.
I've already completely written off 2024. Season over by Yom Kippur has had some changes over the last 10 years or so. It got moved to the 4th of July at some point, now it's holding firmly at St. Paddy's Day.
Keeping expectations super low is a requirement to be a Jet fan. I would not let myself fully buy into the Rodgers hype and boy am I glad I didn't. When he went down I just kind of shook my head and said "of course".
Aaron is not for Aaron. A is for Albatross. Here's where I'm at: if the Packers go deep into the playoffs I will laugh so hard I'll probably choke to death. As a matter of fact, if they take it all it not only would it make my year, it would be the greatest thing ever. GO PACK GO!
Here's the other thing. The Albatross should not be making GM decisions. Everyone he insisted on bringing here as a condition of signing our death warrants has sucked.
I REALLY would like to know what these younger players truly think. That was a very smart and politically correct comment by G. Wilson…. I’d LOVE to hear what he actually tells his family when the door is closed. Same with Breece. I can tell you what I would say back to them, if I were their family… Take every fucking dollar you can from that shit show and then get OUT as fast as you can and don’t look back. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I feel SUPER BAD for Breece Hall because his best years are going to be flushed down the shitter on this team and he deserves so much more. By the time he’ll be able to escape he “may” get a decent second contract but that’s not how the league is going. His pass catching ability might be the only thing that will save him for a decent second contract.
Garrett needs to tread lighter here or risk the Rodgers "suggestion" that he's the one going back to LV in the Davonte trade this winter. Blood being a lot thicker with Hackett and such. Or maybe that is what Garrett is shooting at to begin with.
Shit, if I were G. Wilson, I'd do whatever it took to escape this moron mania... NO ONE on offense has a future with the junk we are trotting out each year.
Garrett Wilson has one more chance of a decent yield with Rodgers followed by 2 years of another Jets rookie or interim FA QB most likely at the level of McCown or Fitz. GW strikes me as a guy who cares about his career numbers, and I think he’s gonna figure out his way out of here sooner than later.
It’s probably not crazy for Wilson to be finishing in the top 5 of receiving every year with a top 15 QB or even a top 20 QB. As much as teams will know his value in free agency, I’m sure it affects negotiations somewhat as future teams will want to pay him based on his past production to an extent. So I’m sure he’s pissed he’s barely cracking 1K when he’s probably a 1,400 yard+ guy in most situations that isn’t here.
