Except that instead of Josh Allen its going to ZACH saying "I hurt our team tonight. I cost our team tonight" We might have best D in the league and the best running back tandem, but its not enough to be a contender. Probably not even enough to be a playoff team in the stacked AFC.

Unless some magic lightbulb pops up over Zach Wilson's head, the NY Jets season is over before it began.

I was listening to MSNBC this morning and Joe Scarborough really summed it up. He said, and rightfully so, that what happened last night was absolutely, 100% the most New York Jets thing to happen. It was as if the "Same Ole' Jets" moniker landed directly on Rodgers left calf and ripped every NY Jets fan's heart out in one instant.

At this point I don't know why I even bother. Why do some teams seem to ALWAYS come out on top and others ALWAYS find ways to destroy everything? Regardless of how or what happened, every single one of us should have KNOWN that all of the bullshit hype was too good to be true. All the hope, good will and excitement was always going to lead to something happening that would obliterate all our dreams for the season. The ONLY positive to come out of last night was we will get to keep our 1st round pick. We can't even "hope" that we suck enough to get the top pick in the draft so we can get a REAL QB. You just KNOW this team...this organization will do SOMETHING to fuck that up too. No, we'll end up with something like the 5th to 10th pick where all the decent QB's will be gone and we'll be stuck drafting yet another Defensive football player.

This sucks ass in 1 million different ways.

Jesus. We won the fucking game. Zach didn’t play like complete dogshit. How bout we wait until he does before making a half dozen threads about how much he sucks? For fucks sake. And people say I’m a miserable prick.

So we’re going to get 4 turnovers, 1 special teams touchdown, 5 sacks and 150 rushing yards every game and still barely win in overtime? Sign
Me up!! Hopefully everyone praises the great Zach Wilson when this happens and we go undefeated and we win the superbowl. Can’t wait to see more off these 140 yard elite passing performances he’ll make us forget about what could of been with ar in no time

bright side is woody found a excuse to raise ticket prices and got a lot richer from all the Ar hype so at least someone’s happy. Ar gets to collect 75 mil without ever playing a game
For the ny jets. Jd has job security after drafting one of the biggest busts in nfl history and not fixing the offensive line still. No wonder woody wearing all that bling and laughing his way to the bank. Gotta respect the hustle.

I was actually hoping for another thread about Zach even though there are multiple Zach discussions already happening across multiple threads. At least this opinion was super unique and insightful.

I blame the o-line more than Zach. Heck, when Rodgers was in he didn't look good either. Rodgers wouldn't have had the mobility to take us that far this season with our pass protection. I'd venture to say that we would have given up 8 sacks and might have lost with Rodgers back there. At least Zach can scramble. There is no wide open passing game with that o-line.

We don't need another QB. We need more line depth.

This is what Douglas should really be spending his time today on. The line is garbage, and it reared its head in the worst possible way last night. He needs to bring some more linemen in here to at least give the coaching staff more options with regards to what they can put on the field. He's not going to be able to revamp it at this point, but something needs to be done.

Exactly how I feel. I think even if he didn’t get injured, there would have been a lot of disappointment.
