I thought it was a good game overall. I was impressed with your defense, and once things flow, I think you're defense will be a darn good one! I was reading Eli's quotes, and he def was giving credit to your d, and I am thankful for the opportunity to play a D like yours because now he can learn from it. Def think a good qb learns from what is given, and Eli is smart enough now to learn from this, and I am thankful we played you guys yesterday for our qb and team to get better. I was very impressed with your defense, and while some parts of the rushing d, needs to get better, I think your team will suprise alot of people. I think the offense, however, will need to carry it's weight otherwise your defense will get tired being on the field. Overall, wanted to say good luck guys, and may you suprise the league! :eaglessuck: :deadskins:
Thanks, as much as I hate the Giants I have to admit that you guys are primed to have a great season this year. Finally, all the pieces are in place and hopefully (for your sake) Eli can stop throwing so many interceptions. Goood Luck.
Thank you. How refreshing is to have a Giant fan be more objective about the Jets strenghs and weaknesses than many Jet fans.
Yes, S+M=S Giants....It was nice to watch your "D" agin our'n...That was nice of you to say, about surprising people...from you lips to God's ear...Majority of Giants fans have a lot of class...I always attend a couple of Giant games(My bro got the Giant tix and I got the Jets, from our Dad)...they have the best tailgates I think..altho i'd love to find a new tailgate at Jets...my people have moved away....so sad
Thanks. Although I hate the giants as well due to the fact a lot of fans who I know talk mad shit you guys played pretty well last night. It was a good game for both of us.
How embarrassing it is for this forum to be shown the way in a positive light on something good about the Jets by a Giants fan? Thanks S+M=S Giants, very good observation. I am also aware of the formidable group on D that the Giants impose on their opponents and really felt that the Jet O would be put to extremes to see what level it is at this juncture. Thanks for providing a yardstick, Giants.
:rofl2: you still remember gilbride, don't you? at this point, a retired namath would be an improvement over noodle arm.hmy:
im one of those people that think theyre good... ...but i can still hate them as much as a want! p.s...2nd best team in NFC East
i would say we hit a sligtht bump in the road...our offense obviously sputtered out in this one...i would give some credit to the Giants D because its good, but in addition Chad just couldnt get it going...i say its nothing to worry about until the season starts...he will be fine and the Jets will surprise a few people(and teams) this year...just watch
i hate the giants so much. especially considering what that old rickety bleeping amani toomer said before the game. I hate them so much.....
Yeah, well just being honest. You're team will suprise alot of people. Plus I think a new head coach who is tougher will whip the team into shape. This Jets team reminds of the Fassel era, and the 4-12 season we endured. I think your HC can turn the defense into a nasty one. Offensive side of the ball is a concern, but perhaps a draft or two, and being diligent with undrafted FAs can turn that around. All in all, I am not jets fan, but I am a football fan, and can say my team has been there, and just starting to rise from it all. You guys will, just dont read the papers, and such, because their going to sell you how the Jets are worse than they actually are. I think as of now perhaps not even 2nd. But all depends on injuries and Eli. If we can get good production out of Eli, and our D, specifically AP stays healthy, I dont see why we cant be 1. I respect Carolina much more than Seattle.
I cant remember exactly but something along the lines of "I aint too worried playing a team that barrows our stadium once in a while". He played the "orphan card".
