Also, wasn't it downpouring rain at the half? Not sure if it would postpone it, but worth noting.

Ah yes, and I noticed it was quiet after the first half. Did most of the Jets fans leave? We really needed them. Would have been nice to have a lot of noise on those 3rd and long plays.

All we saw on local tv was that annoying fathead Chris Berman at halftime.

It was delayed by thunderstorms for 45 minutes.

It was telecast by ESPN and it sounds like ESPN didn't show it. So, it may have occurred without coverage or it was rained out. Only someone who was at the stadium can tell us.

Local NYC channel 9, WWOR, showed the ESPN feed. We saw no halftime show.

I'm pretty sure they didn't cancel it. They never show the halftime shows on MNF.

The heaviest rain happened with less than a minute in the half. Everyone went under for cover. I heard a ceremony, but I think they did it in one o them fancy 'coaches clubs'. They didn't put it on the TVs up on the 300 level.
Vinny was the only Jet who spoke. They did announce a bunch of the players, so I assume they were somewhere atthe stadium.

I was at the miracle and now the monsoon!!

Thanks. SNY confirmed that they did in fact "celebrate" the MnM, but they didn't mention where it took place or what they did.

Hardly a celebration. A video package was shown of highlights from the game, and a bunch of players were in attendance from the team (I can't remember all off the top of my head). Vinny's address to the crowd was basically a recap of the game, mentioning key moments from his fellow teammates that were standing there with him (he basically just said the video package aloud) and said how the fans were a big part of the win.

Mind you, this halftime ceremony took place in front of a few thousand, maybe even only a few hundred fans, because the majority of the stadium took for cover from the rain.

They need to do it again next year so we can actually see it.

Networks never show halftime shows live unless it's a NFL thing like during postseason or the Super Bowl. They usually show a cut when they come back in the 2nd half.

The ceremony was dampened by the rain but it was still a nice ceremony introducing all the players that were there and Vinny spoke for about a minute or 2. It's amazing it's been 10 years already and many of those guys looked really old.

We got under the cover of the concourse for halftime, it was pouring and we were soaked. They didn't show it on the stadium screens, you'd think they would have. I couldn't hear Vinny from where we were.

Yeah nearly half the crowd was gone by halftime. It was disappointing. Just buy a poncho and get your ass back in your seat.

poncho= best 10 bucks I've ever spent lol

It's unfair that the viewers at home weren't shown this one but were subjected to the atrocity at Sun Life Stadium.
